Ignite Me

Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3)Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
My rating: ★★★★★

Goodreads Sypnosis:

The heart-stopping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, bestselling author of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, called “a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love.”

With Omega Point destroyed, Juliette doesn’t know if the rebels, her friends, or even Adam are alive. But that won’t keep her from trying to take down The Reestablishment once and for all. Now she must rely on Warner, the handsome commander of Sector 45. The one person she never thought she could trust. The same person who saved her life. He promises to help Juliette master her powers and save their dying world . . . but that’s not all he wants with her.

The Shatter Me series is perfect for fans who crave action-packed young adult novels with tantalizing romance like Divergent by Veronica Roth, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, and Legend by Marie Lu. Tahereh Mafi has created a captivating and original story that combines the best of dystopian and paranormal, and was praised by Publishers Weekly as “a gripping read from an author who’s not afraid to take risks.” Now this final book brings the series to a shocking and satisfying end.

My Thoughts:

I know.. My supposed to be review for this book has been long over due. I've read Ignite Me last February 2014, right after it came out, and I've read it for like 5 times already as of this writing. I just can't think and come up of beautiful words to describe how amazing this book is. every time I attempt to start doing a review to this beautiful book, it seems that I am unable to collect my thoughts. I am so afraid I won't be able to do justice on this book. I just can't get enough of my feels.

This will be a pretty long review since I'll be writing all of my rants and thoughts for the whole series..

My reaction after I finished each book:
Shatter Me:
description

  Pointers:
*I so loved the creativity and writing.
*The metaphors, which pretty much denied and rejected by a lot of readers were one of the   the things that totally hooked me up.
*Juliette and Adam's pairing was good I guess. However, their ship didn't really strike me as swoon worthy. It felt like forced somehow. Although I wasn't really, into Warner at that time, I wasn't even sure If Warner's going to be one of the love interest since he's a little bit... Crazy I was even considering Kenji at that time.. :)

  Destroy Me:
This is the part of the book I was 100 percent sure I am on   Team Warner
all the way! I am freaking Obsessed with him!
description

*Warner loves black coffee.
*Warner really loves Juliette in his own twisted way
*Warner hates his father.
*Warner is a product of a tortured childhood.
*Warner has always been alone.
*Warner is aware that each and every soldiers under his command wanted him dead.
*Warner is so hot.
*Warner is Drop Dead Gorgeous.

Hey Warner..

Unravel Me:
More on that controversial
  Chapter 62

MY OTP. OH GODS!
"You," and he whispers it, letter by letter he presses the word into my skin before he hesitates.
Then.
Softer.
His chest, heaving harder his time. His words, almost gasping this time."You destroy me"

I so loved Juliette, she's strong, her growth throughout the novel is amazing, but I wanted to Freaking slap her in the face for ruining the moment and for hurting Warner.. AGAIN!!! ARRRRGGGGHHHH!

Then there's...

Fracture Me:
         Hey Adam..

Sorry not sorry.

And finally....

 Ignite Me

description

Juliette and Warner's relationship has leveled up.. FINALLY! But it's not the only reason why I loved this book.

Characters:
Each and every character of this book has evolved. I loved how Juliette finally put her big panties on. how she stood up for the things she really really want to fight for. We have also see a side of Kenji that we never saw on the last 2 books. I guess, Loss and grief has its own way of breaking down a strong person. Even Castle, and Alia, and Winston and Lily and Ian and everyone, even Adam. All we get to see on Adam is his soft side when he is around Juliette.Juliette was right when she said that we become who really are when things get rough. Adam isn't that bad really, he's just being practical, we can't really blame him for putting James, his first priority, after all he's the only family he's got, but Juliette deserves someone better than being a 2nd option, which is why Warner's perfect for her.
Warner never tried to act kind, he never tried to hide his intentions and feelings to Juliette. I can like come up with an unending list why Warner's the best person for Juliette and I don't think that i's necessary, every one who have read the book will definitely like Warner.

Story:
I have a little problem with the story however. I was dumbfounded on how easily Juliette and everyone defeated the supreme commander. It was rushed. I don't know if writers have like a maximum allowable pages in a book, because I wouldn't mind it if the book is 1000 pages long, so why the rush? Maybe, just maybe, (and I know I am asking for to much..) there will be another trilogy, as a sequel to this book that was why the ending was rushed. I don't mind at all.. Please Tahereh let it happen.. :(

I don't even know what to do with my life anymore when this series has finally reached its ending. But then again, I can always read the book again and cherished every moment with my dear Warner..
I really recommend this book to everyone who loves Fantasy - Romance. If you haven't read this series yet...
